Welcome Brassfield RTA Campers. So excited to begin our camp adventure. We will learn lots, read lots, write lots and have fun! Our goal is to become GREAT readers and writers. We will have a camp theme and all our learning will center around this theme. 

  

3rd/4th Grade Camp: (2018)

Our theme is Wacky Animals. This unit will be followed your entire time and each day will consist of:

• Morning Meeting
• 2 Guided Reading lessons with written responses
• Daily Rotations (Writing, Research, Guided Reading with the Teacher)
• Daily Art projects related to the day's topic
• Time to work on a I Wonder....Research Project

We will have lunch, snack and specials each day and will follow the 4th grade schedule for lunch and recess.

Specials 2:50-3:30 (teacher assistants for Kindergarten classes)





1st - 2nd Grade Camp (2018): 

Our theme is Animal Life Cycles. One week will focus on reptiles and the second week will focus on birds. Each day will consist of:

• Morning Meeting
• 2 Read Aloud lessons with written responses
• Daily Rotations (Writing, Research, Guided Reading with the Teacher)
• Writing Lesson
• Reader's Theater
• Time to work on a Research Project

We will have lunch, snack and specials each day and follow the 1st grade schedule.
